Beth's Graduation Cruise, Jan 2009

Pyramids

Beth graduated from FIT and then set off on a cruise around the Mediterranean with her friend Gwen. They started in Barcelona and stopped in Rome, Athens, Egypt and Malta. They got to see pyramids, sphinxes, the Parthenon and more.
Cairo
At the end of the cruise they spent two weeks with Aunt Claire and Uncle John near Saffron Walden in the UK.

Beginning of the Year - Another Move

Matrikon Party Matrikon Party Begining of the year had a Matrikon Company party that has a 1960's theme. We figured we didn't have to do a whole lot to fit in to that theme.
By then Andrew was working full-time in Calgary so we had our house on the market in Edmonton. Plan was to move when it sold. Market was terrble and we had to come down in price, but we ended up buying in Calgary at a low price also. So we hope eveything works out in the end.

Trip to the UK

Garden Lunch I managed a quick trip to the UK an passed by the Stranges to say hi. Everyone was in fine form including the animals. Mount Rushmore at Night

Banff

Banff Banff Springs Hotel Banff Bridge

Banff is less than an hour away from our house. The scenery is wonderful. Great for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Lake Louise

Lake Louise is close also with its great views and colored waters.

Stampede

Chuck Wagon Races Stampede Stampede Show

Stampede is a two week long party in Calgary in July with chuck wagon races a rodeo and an evening show.
